Overview

TurbidTrack ("the App") is a field turbidity monitoring and compliance reporting application developed for environmental inspectors, contractors, and agencies. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. TurbidTrack is designed as an offline-first application — your report data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Information We Collect

The App collects the following types of information:

Information You Enter Directly

• Project and job names
• Inspector name and company or agency name
• Permit and SWPPP numbers
• Waterbody names and sample location descriptions
• Turbidity (NTU) readings and field notes
• Turbidity meter model, serial number, and calibration information
• Date, time, and weather conditions

Location Data

With your permission, the App accesses your device's GPS to record coordinates at the time of a field reading. GPS coordinates are embedded in the generated report and stored locally on your device. Location data is never transmitted to our servers.

Photos

With your permission, the App accesses your device camera and photo library to capture meter reading photos and site condition photos. Photos are stored locally on your device as part of the report record. Photos are never uploaded to our servers.

Signature

The App captures a drawn inspector signature for inclusion in the compliance report. The signature is stored locally on your device as an image within the report record and is never transmitted to our servers.

How We Use Your Information

All information you enter is used solely to generate and store field compliance reports on your device. Specifically:

• To populate the PDF compliance report with your field data
• To maintain a local history of past reports on your device
• To allow you to export and share reports via your device's native share sheet

We do not sell, rent, or share your field data with any third party.

Data Storage

All report data — including field entries, photos, GPS coordinates, and signatures — is stored locally on your device using device-native storage. No report data is transmitted to or stored on TurbidTrack's servers. Data remains on your device until you delete individual records or uninstall the App.

Free tier accounts store up to 5 reports on-device. Pro subscribers may store an unlimited number of reports.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates two third-party services that may collect limited data:

Google AdMob (Free Tier Only)

Free tier users see banner and interstitial advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Pro subscribers do not see any advertisements.

RevenueCat

The App uses RevenueCat to manage subscription purchases and entitlements. RevenueCat may collect purchase history and device identifiers to validate your subscription status in accordance with RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions:

• Location (When In Use) — to record GPS coordinates on field reports
• Camera — to capture meter reading and site condition photos
• Photo Library — to attach existing photos to field reports

All permissions are optional and requested only when you initiate the relevant action. You may deny any permission; the App will continue to function without it, though the corresponding feature will not be available.

Children's Privacy

TurbidTrack is intended for use by environmental and construction professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Because your report data is stored exclusively on your device, you have full control over it at all times:

• You may delete individual report records from the History screen at any time
• You may delete all app data by uninstalling the App
• You may revoke location, camera, or photo library permissions at any time through your device settings

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
